Ascend Photography provides high-impact real estate imagery to agents, builders and other customers to successfully bridge the gap between the seller and the buyer. Honesty, integrity and reliability are the cornerstones of our success.

The business got its start in the fall of 2021 by Ty Hardt, who has more than 30 years of journalism and corporate communications experience in the state of Alaska. Working closely throughout his career with some of the best photographers and videographers in the business, Ty was honored to have won four Emmy Awards for his work ranging from writing, producing and anchoring a documentary on climbing Denali, the highest peak in North America – to writing and producing another long-format documentary on the formation Arctic Slope Regional Corporation (ASRC), the largest and most successful of the Alaska Native corporations. Hardt won two other Emmys for a run of ASRC’s broadcast television commercials.

Ascend Photography specializes in real estate photography, hosted and non-hosted video tours, Matterport 3D tours as well as aerial (drone) photography and videography. Images and video files are delivered to the agent quickly and reliably with an eye toward customer service and developing long-term business relationships.
